Weekend in the countryside

A couple of weekends ago we went 18 friends to the mountains. We hired a cottage in Peak District, a natural park between Manchester and Sheffield, very beautiful. The cottage was in Hope Valley and the best of it is that it had an indoors swimming-pool! The purpose was to do something together before Christmas. I didn't know all of them but once there everybody was really nice.

We left on Friday evening although some of the guys went in the morning and some others on Saturday. On Saturday we had a walk in the mountains and we had a lovely weather. Well, you can see it in the photos on the entry below. We walked with sheep, meadows, mountains, paths, narrow gorges, a little forest... In the evening I went to the swimming-pool and in the evening we had a Christmas dinner. It was great.

On Sunday we went to the town nearby, Castleton. We went to visit the castle, gorgeous. We chose a good day to walk in the mountains that Saturday because it was much windier on Sunday and it felt much colder. I don't have much to say on this entry.
